Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, have supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities following cash handling practices and guidelines.
• Coordinate signage, manage seasonal displays, and merchandise to maximize sales.
• Process damaged merchandise daily.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain checkout area and store-front displays to maximize impulse sales.
• Refill coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
