Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated and assigned by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Helping with hiring, training, and development of store associates.
3. Performing all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
4. Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
6. Maintaining store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
7. Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
8. Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
9. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, including damaged goods.
10. Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
11. Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
12. Overseeing promotional displays and seasonal areas.
13. Coordinating signage and merchandising efforts.
14. Assisting with weekly scheduling and store supplies management.
15. Refilling coolers and displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prefer prior retail and management experience.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
