Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure company assets, including cash
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors
• Ensure all store areas meet company standards, including recovery and maintenance
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates
• Process directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies
• Help ensure proper staffing coverage daily
• Assist in managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices
• Support promotional displays and seasonal areas to maximize sales
• Coordinate signage and maintain merchandise displays
• Process damaged merchandise daily
• Assist in creating weekly schedules and managing store supplies and expenses
• Maintain checkout area and ensure coolers and displays are replenished daily

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
