Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates.
• Handle store directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Maintain sales effectiveness on the sales floor and manage cashiering activities according to cash handling practices.
• Manage promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinate signage and ensure store supplies are maintained and expenses controlled.
• Assist with merchandising and maintaining checkout areas to maximize sales.
• Refill coolers and promotional racks daily.
• Assist with creating weekly schedules.
• Process damaged merchandise daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
