Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
4. Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
7. When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
11. Manage cashiering activities to adhere to cash handling practices and guidelines.
12. Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and seasonal areas.
13. Coordinate signage and ensure merchandise replenishment, including coolers and displays.
14. Assist with weekly scheduling and store supplies management.
15. Help maximize impulse sales at checkout and maintain store presentation.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
