Responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
  2. Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
  3. Performing store opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
  4. Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash.
  5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
  6. Managing store areas to company standards, including recovery and merchandising.
  7. Supervising hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
  8. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
  9. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, including damaged goods.
  10. Supporting staffing, sales, cash handling, and promotional activities.
  11. Managing store supplies, expenses, and store displays to maximize sales.
  12. Assisting with schedule creation and ensuring compliance with policies.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Prior retail and management experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
