Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
4. Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery of stockroom and sales floor.
7. When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates.
8. Process corporate directives related to store activities, including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
11. Support sales effectiveness on the sales floor and manage cashiering activities according to cash handling practices.
12. Manage store displays and signage for promotional effectiveness.
13. Coordinate merchandise receipt, return, and damage processing.
14. Assist with weekly scheduling and store supplies management.
15. Maintain checkout area to maximize impulse sales and ensure daily refill of coolers and displays.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
