Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations, as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash.
• Adhering to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional, friendly environment for customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Keeping all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, in company-standard condition.
• Assuming direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Managing cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
• Managing promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinating signage and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintaining checkout area merchandising to maximize impulse sales.
• Refilling coolers and program racks/displays daily.
• Assisting with weekly schedule creation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
