Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-experienced Permanent Operations Assistant to join our thriving manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our production operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role is integral to our success, offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Document Control procedure, production team purchasing activities & blanket orders, creating, maintaining, and distributing schedules for production, and managing materials and production planning.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and oversee document control procedures to ensure all production-related documents and records are maintained accurately and updated regularly.
  2. Handle production team purchasing activities, including managing blanket orders, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  3. Develop, maintain, and distribute production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects.
  4. Oversee the materials management process, including inventory control, storage, distribution, and disposal.
  5. Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless production planning, addressing any potential issues promptly and effectively.
  6. Monitor production processes and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards, regulations, and company policies.
  8. Assist in preparing and managing the production budget, tracking expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures.
  9. Provide regular reports on production activities, progress, and issues to senior management.
Qualifications:
  1. A minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  2. Solid understanding and experience in Document Control procedure, production team purchasing activities & blanket orders.
  3. Proven experience in creating, maintaining, and distributing schedules for production.
  4. Extensive knowledge and experience in materials management and production planning.
  5. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  8. Proficiency in using various software applications, including MS Office Suite and production management software.
  9. Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field is preferred.
  10. Relevant certifications in operations management, supply chain management, or related field will be an added advantage.
