We're seeking a hands-on Operations & Asset Readiness Manager to take ownership of the physical resources that keep our company moving. This person will help maintain facilities, improve operational systems, coordinate repairs and vendors, and make sure critical assets are ready when our teams need them.

Job Summary

The Operations & Asset Readiness Manager oversees the condition, organization, maintenance, and availability of Greenawalt Hospitality's physical infrastructure and operational resources. Responsibilities span company facilities, warehouses, storage areas, fleet vehicles, trailers, event equipment, and other specialized assets.

This role blends facilities operations, preventive maintenance, asset management, vendor relationships, inventory oversight, and project coordination. The goal is to keep company resources dependable and deployment-ready while building systems that support efficient growth across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities & Property Operations

• Take ownership of the day-to-day condition and readiness of offices, warehouses, storage areas, yards, and other company properties
• Schedule and coordinate building repairs, routine maintenance, and facility improvement work
• Maintain clean, safe, functional, and well-organized company spaces
• Identify facility issues and coordinate appropriate service providers to resolve them
• Help evaluate opportunities to improve the functionality and efficiency of company facilities

Equipment & Asset Readiness

• Oversee the condition and availability of vehicles, trailers, event equipment, and other operational resources
• Establish and maintain inspection and preventive maintenance routines
• Coordinate servicing, repairs, preparation, and turnaround of operational equipment
• Support the movement and deployment of equipment for events throughout the country
• Ensure assets are properly stored, maintained, documented, and ready for their next assignment

Vendor & Maintenance Projects

• Build working relationships with mechanics, contractors, suppliers, repair shops, and other service providers
• Manage maintenance requests and coordinate projects from initial scope through completion
• Gather estimates, compare service options, and help negotiate costs when appropriate
• Monitor vendor work to ensure projects are completed properly, on schedule, and within expectations
• Assist leadership with planning and prioritizing maintenance and facility improvement expenditures

Inventory, Records & Asset Accountability

• Keep current records covering company assets, inspections, maintenance, warranties, inventory, and service history
• Improve tracking processes so departments have clear visibility into equipment and asset status
• Monitor how equipment and other resources are being used and maintained
• Identify assets that may require repair, replacement, refurbishment, or upgrades
• Provide leadership with useful information and recommendations regarding asset condition and operational needs

Safety, Systems & Process Improvement

• Establish practical standards for equipment care, facility upkeep, storage, and asset handling
• Help train employees on proper use, handling, storage, and care of company resources
• Perform routine inspections and operational audits
• Identify inefficiencies and develop better processes for maintaining and tracking assets
• Promote a culture of organization, accountability, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with contractors, service providers, mechanics, or other vendors
• Exposure to fleet vehicles, trailers, warehouses, event equipment, or similar operational assets is preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage several projects and priorities simultaneously
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working independently while coordinating with multiple departments
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• FAST Team Certification eligible

Salary

$45,000–$50,000 annually, depending on education, experience, and qualifications.

Travel Requirement

This position involves significant travel between company properties, warehouses, storage locations, event venues, and operational work sites. Travel schedules will vary based on business and event requirements and may include overnight stays, evenings, and weekends.

The ideal candidate is comfortable being mobile and stepping into different operational environments as the company's needs change.
