Job summary

Staff Outsource Solutions is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to build and improve the firm's operational infrastructure on a project-based engagement. The role focuses on creating clear, efficient, scalable processes that the current team can consistently follow.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, and experienced in developing SOPs, training systems, workflows, and operating documentation. Strong communication and independent project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Operations teams in a professional services setting.
• Experience building SOPs and training programs.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal.
• Ability to analyze workflows and propose improvements.
• Capable of independent project management from assessment to implementation.
• Experience in law firm or legal services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess current operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and document clear, practical SOPs.
• Build efficient workflows and processes for day-to-day operations.
• Create training materials, guides, and resources for staff.
• Develop a structured training program based on the new processes.
• Train current staff and ensure understanding and implementation.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and standardization opportunities.
• Establish systems that promote consistency, accountability, and efficiency.
• Make recommendations to improve team performance and workflow.
• Conduct follow-up check-ins after project completion.
