Job summary

Our client is an on-site COO opportunity in Dublin, Ohio, leading end-to-end operations across manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and customer care for a national emergency medical products leader.

The role drives product lifecycle excellence, lean transformation, and strategic partnerships while ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in a demanding medical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in medical device or healthcare products with VP-level accountability.
• Proven success leading multi-site operations in regulated environments.
• Direct experience leading product development from concept to lifecycle management.
• Working knowledge of medical device development and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead core operating functions (Purchasing, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics, Engineering, Manufacturing, Assembly/Kitting, Contract Manufacturing) with accountability for performance and compliance.
• Define and execute operational, engineering, and manufacturing strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Design and expand distribution, manufacturing, and operational footprint to meet future needs.
• Establish KPI framework for satisfaction, quality, productivity, on-time delivery, inventory, safety, profitability.
• Oversee M&A due diligence, integration planning, and value realization.
