Job summary

ARCH Services seeks a Director of Operations to build and oversee the organization’s administrative infrastructure in California. The role partners with HR leadership and reports to the COO, shaping operations across programs and client engagements.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in operations, administration, or business management, with at least two years in a leadership role.
• Working knowledge of nonprofit finance, facilities management, IT administration, risk management, or compliance.
• Ability to build systems and processes from the ground up with minimal support.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high emotional intelligence.
• Commitment to serving survivors of abuse with strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and continuously improve organizational policies, procedures, and internal systems.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for operational issues across programs and locations.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts and insurance coverage.
• Support executive leadership with strategic planning, board reporting, and special projects.
• Design and implement operational processes for client organizations and transition ownership back to clients.
