Job summary

Nova Guides in Red Cliff, Colorado, is hiring a full-time or part-time Operations and Venue Supervisor. You will assist in daily operations across guiding, lodging, food and beverage, front desk, and wedding operations, ensuring guests receive high-quality service.

Pay ranges from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, weekly pay, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lead, problem-solve, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide information about facilities, hikes, attractions, and entertainment; guide guests on hikes and activities.
• Train and schedule recreation team members to ensure proper staffing.
• Create daily agendas for efficient operations.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of recreation equipment and facilities.
• Maintain inventories and perform maintenance tasks.
• Assist in managerial duties (hiring, scheduling, inventory, payroll).
• Be night manager for wedding days and morning manager when needed.
• Assist Operation Manager with food & beverage, housekeeping, front desk.
• Assist Venue Manager on event days and group bookings.

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time or part-time Operations and Venue Supervisor to join our team at Nova Guides in Red Cliff, Colorado. As a Operations and Venue Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our guiding, lodging, food and beverage, front desk and wedding operations, ensuring guests receive the highest quality of service.

$25.00 – $35.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Provide information about the facilities, local hikes, attractions, and entertainment options, and guide guests on hikes and activities
• Train and schedule recreation team members to ensure the team is properly staffed to meet guest demand
• Create daily agendas to ensure all work is carried out efficiently
• Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of all recreation equipment and facilities
• Maintain inventories of equipment, inspect for wear and tear, and perform maintenance tasks
• Assist in the managerial duties of the operation such as hiring, scheduling, inventory, ordering and payroll
• Be the night manager on duty for wedding days and morning manager on duty for days the Operation/Venue Managers are unavailable
• Assist the Operation Manager in duties for food and beverage, housekeeping and front desk
• Assist the Venue Manager in duties on event days and group bookings
• Operate a company vehicle as needed

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of previous supervisory experience required
• Must has a valid driver’s license
• Ability to lead, problem-solve, and operate in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, lodge booking software and reservation booking software
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• No college degree required

Physical requirements

• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and bend and stoop frequently
