Job summary

Textron Aviation Inc. in Wichita, KS is offering a Summer Internship in Business Development. You will assist the Business Operations team with Service Center initiatives and support a network of 18 Service Centers and over 40 mobile service locations.

This internship is full-time, onsite, First Shift for 10 weeks, with late May to early August. Applicants should pursue a bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field and possess strong communication

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Private Pilot’s license, A&P license, or aerospace experience desirable.
• Technical knowledge of aircraft beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Center Network with ongoing and new continuous improvement projects
• Follow established procedures for database management, sales projects, and market share studies
• Analyze labor and time studies and network communication efforts to align with Textron Aviation policy and profitability
• Interface with multiple Textron Aviation departments to ensure Service Centers meet goals
• Work on projects including business cases, SOP creation, time studies, SAP data, data modeling and financial analysis of future sites
• Develop tools or templates for ongoing improvements in efficiency and process consistency
