Job summary

ACT Commodities Inc. in New York City is seeking a detail-oriented undergraduate intern to support the operations and transactions process.

You will help the team ensure timely product delivery to clients and vendors with high accuracy, and assist in preparing management reports. You will coordinate with the credit team to ensure balances are in good standing before deliveries, assist with contract generation and review, and monitor execution with internal and external parties.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student with expected graduation date Dec 2027– Jun 2028.
• Strong numerical thinking and clear articulation of ideas.
• Collaborate well and build strong working relationships.
• Interest in environmental commodity markets and energy transition; proactive and diligent.
• Detail-oriented with experience and comfort using Excel.

Responsibilities

• Learn the operational side of the transaction process.
• Assist the operations team with timely product delivery to clients and vendors with high accuracy.
• Ensure accurate information on every transaction while helping to create management reports.
• Coordinate with the internal credit team to ensure balances are in good standing before deliveries.
• Assist with contract generation and external contract review related to transaction details.
• Monitor and follow up with internal and external parties to ensure contract execution and accuracy.
• Work collaboratively across teams to address evolving needs.
