Job summary

Delta Air Lines, Inc. is recruiting Operations Analytics Co-ops to collaborate with analytics professionals across departments such as IOP, ODDS, CSSC, ACS, Crew, DC, FOP, OBS, IFS, OCC and Central.

You will measure operational performance, analyze data, develop new reports and dashboards, and assist in optimization initiatives to enhance on-time performance and efficiency across the airline.

Responsibilities

• Measure current operational performance and/or customer satisfaction
• Identify optimization opportunities to reduce injuries and security line wait times
• Research, analyze, and interpret operational data
• Develop new reports and dashboards and automate existing ones
• Perform reliability/root-cause analysis for parts and maintenance
• Evaluate and provide recommendations for improvement of key operational metrics including aircraft time at gate, gating efficiency, and feasibility of aircraft schedules
• Seek operational improvements to reduce aircraft taxi time and flight time
• Maintain, run and improve staffing models to support airport operations
• Provide strategic and operational support and develop performance metrics and goals
• Develop success factors and statistical evaluations of new procedures
