Overview

Operations Analyst - Global Resource Management – Salesforce

The Resource Management team is responsible for managing the staffing life cycle, globally, for Services engagements. Resource Managers source and allocate consultants across Services roles by monitoring, validating and routing resource requests, focusing on increasing utilization of internal resources and customer success. Resource Managers drive alignment between collaborators (e.g. Services Leadership, People Managers, Account Partners and Project Team) in order to assign/staff Services engagements.

Responsibilities
  • Demand Management: Review pipeline/opportunities and projects to ensure start dates align with available capacity; align resources to demand.
  • Assignment planning/alignment: Add named resources and suggest resources where appropriate.
  • Opportunity closure data hygiene: Check resource requests to confirm status, dates, and skills.
  • Resource Management: Develop understanding of internal resource availability, skills and experience; identify capacity shortfalls and engage global alternatives and/or Partner Management.
  • Resource allocation: Manage, assign and replace resources; forecast review and schedule management / load balancing.
  • Analytical Reporting / Health of the Business: Produce bench insights, utilization trends, capacity narratives, and open resource opportunity reporting. Lead regional staffing meetings and assign staff to projects balancing needs and development goals. Drive utilization through creative staffing solutions when resources are constrained.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a resource management role with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple dynamic priorities and build positive relationships with stakeholders across functions.
