Job summary

KBR is seeking an Operations Analyst to provide comprehensive administrative, analytical, and organizational support to Air Force program divisions. The role includes travel management, data collection, research, and coordination across directorates to ensure operational alignment.

Responsibilities cover preparing reports, conducting policy research, managing awards and general duties, and training staff on PMRT, SharePoint, and related systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, administrative support, analysis, or program support.
  • Experience supporting DoD or USAF program offices preferred.
  • Proficiency with AFRIMS, DTS, ETMS2/TMT, SOCCER, MICT, PMRT, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical abilities and experience reviewing reports, data, and research.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Provide day-to-day division support for administrative functions, DTS, training, awards, and special projects.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze division data to support requirements and leadership decision-making.
  • Serve as project manager for special studies and initiatives; prepare reports, findings, and recommendations.
  • Conduct independent research on policy, procedures, regulations, and legal/contractual requirements.
  • Review draft regulations and directives; prepare impact assessments and recommendations.
  • Participate in meetings, committees, and working groups; prepare briefings and written reports.
  • Coordinate across directorates, centers, MAJCOMs, and HQ USAF to support operational alignment.
  • Maintain master files, file plans, and tracking systems for classified and unclassified material.
  • Use systems such as AFRIMS, DTS, SOCCER, ETMS2/TMT, MICT, and PMRT to retrieve data and track actions.
  • Support administrative tasks: manning tracking, data entry, correspondence preparation, mail handling, and office supply coordination.
  • Assist with self-inspections, corrective action tracking, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Process quarterly/yearly awards and recognition packages.
  • Train staff on TMT, SharePoint, and package submission requirements; track suspenses and correspondence.
  • Manage DTS travel orders, authorizations, and vouchers; provide travel expertise and training to personnel.

The Operations Analyst provides comprehensive administrative, analytical, and organizational support to Air Force program divisions. This role manages activities including DTS travel, training, special projects, data collection, self-inspections, file management, and cross-directorate coordination. The analyst conducts research, interprets policy, develops reports and briefings, tracks suspense items, and advises senior leadership on operational processes and initiatives.
