Summary of This Role

Implement and manage a system reconciliation service offered to company clients. Identify and investigate out-of-reconciliation conditions, work closely with support teams to perform root cause analysis, and implement action plans for resolution. Initiate data fixes or related actions to restore full reconciliation. Participate in internal payment system or client meetings as necessary to discuss and agree on action plans for out-of-reconciliation issues.

What Part Will You Play?

• Extract and compile financial data; produce daily/weekly reconciliation reports for assigned clients based on provided templates. Support senior analysts in producing reports on potential financial impacts of reconciliation issues.
• Assist in compiling data for root cause analysis to address reconciliation process or transactional data issues; support senior analysts in analysis.
• Identify potential basic out-of-reconciliation issues; assist in resolving process or data issues; draft client communications regarding issue status.
• Support understanding and implementation of process and system changes affecting reconciliation.
• Finalize forms for helpdesk issues; track status until resolution; maintain financial reporting history for management.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Experience
• Knowledge of financial reconciliation, preferably in financial industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, IT, or related field
• Typically Minimum 4 Years Relevant Experience
• Knowledge of financial reconciliation; international candidates with London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Higher Accounting qualification preferred.

Desired Skills and Capabilities

• Substantial understanding of the job; applies knowledge to tasks
• Works on routine to moderately difficult tasks; makes decisions or recommendations
• Receives little instruction on daily work; general instructions on new assignments
• Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables)
• Knowledge of financial audit rules and bookkeeping processes
