LaSalle Network is seeking an Operations Coordinator – Air Export to join our Wood Dale, IL team. You will enter and process Air Export shipments, generate documentation, coordinate pickups, and track shipments from origin to destination in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in Air Export/Freight Forwarding, strong customer service, data entry, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Air Export/Freight Forwarding experience required.
• Experience with Air Export operations, including shipment processing, documentation, tracking, and carrier coordination.
• Strong customer service, data entry, and high-volume email management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Air Export documentation, shipment tracking, and customer invoicing/billing. Familiarity with DG, TSA, and IATA regulations.

Responsabilités

• Enter and process Air Export shipment information accurately within company systems.
• Generate required export documentation and ensure appropriate rates, charges, and export filing requirements are applied.
• Coordinate shipment pickups from customers and vendors to the Wood Dale facility.
• Track and trace shipments with carriers from origin through final destination.
• Prepare, assemble, and distribute required Air Export documentation.
• Support freight inspections and ensure shipments meet applicable IATA standards.
• Create customer invoices and help troubleshoot billing discrepancies or issues.
• Update shipment milestones to ensure proper processing by operations and warehouse teams and adherence to KPI requirements.
• Follow account-specific SOPs to maintain consistent and accurate service.
• Communicate shipment updates, issues, and exceptions internally and with customers.
• Manage a high volume of email communication and account activity while meeting required deadlines.
• Escalate account, shipment, or documentation issues appropriately.

What’s needed?

• 3+ years of Air Export/Freight Forwarding experience required

• Compensation: $22–$25/hour, depending on experience
• Location: Wood Dale, IL
• Work Model: Onsite
• Schedule: Full-time, with shifts scheduled within an 8:00 AM–5:00 PM window and some flexibility based on business needs
