Job description

You like being the person who makes the day run smoother. You'd rather solve ten small problems well than sit on one big strategy. You notice things before anyone has to point them out, and you would rather just fix it than wait to be told.

DFLG was named to the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies, which means the pace here is real and the to-do list changes daily. That kind of growth creates room: the person who steps in, brings hustle, and figures things out is the person who moves up. This role is a genuine foot in the door at a firm that's going somewhere, with a real path for upward mobility for the right person.

This is a hands-on operations and administrative support role. You will help our Chief Operating Officer keep our office space, current and new, running smoothly: managing office logistics, coordinating with IT on tech needs, and building out clear procedures as the firm grows. You will help our Director of Firm Administration with onboarding, recruiting tasks, and other administrative tasks. You won't set firm strategy or own the budget; you'll help execute the plans leadership puts in place, with real input along the way.

We're looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable being the go-to person for whatever the office needs on any given day: someone with a genuine sense of urgency who doesn't let things sit, and who treats a problem as something to solve, not just something to flag and wait on.

The Opportunity

This is a great entry point into a fast-paced, tech-forward family law firm. You will get exposure to how a growing firm's operations, marketing, and leadership functions actually work, and the chance to build real skills without being handed strategic ownership on day one. Show us you can run with it, and there's real room to grow into more.

DFLG is one of the premier family law firms in Washington. We are a tech-forward, operationally sharp team, and we invest in people who show up reliable, hungry, and ready to learn.

Compensation

$24 - $31.25 hourly
