Job summary

Cogent Analytics is seeking an Operations Administration Intern for a six- to twelve-month rotational program in Greensboro, NC. The role will cross-train in core operations tasks, building knowledge to cover each Operations Administrator area and provide ongoing support.

The internship requires a minimum of 20 hours per week and offers hands-on experience across multiple business operations functions, including invoicing, reporting, and client records management.

Qualifications

• College juniors and seniors studying Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field may be well aligned.
• Aptitude, reliability, and willingness to learn matter more than a specific major.
• Comfortable learning and using multiple systems and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train in invoicing, collections, report generation, and client lifecycle tracking.
• Learn and work across ClickUp, Fulcrum, Core, and Tableau.
• Provide coverage for Operations Administrators after demonstrating proficiency in each function.
• Maintain accurate client, financial, and operational records.
• Generate reports and track required follow-up activities.
• Help ensure administrative responsibilities continue without interruption.
• Follow established procedures while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Handle financial and client information with accuracy, professionalism, and discretion.
