In this position, you will be responsible for leading the test team in test design, test planning, thorough test execution to include detailed data collection, and analysis to ensure observed results are accurately evaluated and documented in the Test Report in support of NSWC Corona operating out of Norfolk Virginia.Responsibilities:Direct test design, test planning, test execution, and test reporting effortsfor the assigned programs per the Director’s policies and guidance.In coordination with the Section Head or designated representative, ensure assigned team provides clear and consistent communications relevant to OT with internal and external stakeholders. Principal liaison with program office Assistant Program Manager (APM) T&E and member(s) of the T&E Working Integrated Product Team (WIPT) for assigned programs within the portfolio.Coordinate review of relevant program documentation, both to provide feedback regarding testability to the originator and to assess inputs to test design and test planning.Direct test execution, in coordination with Fleet stakeholders, and ensure test data are properly collected in a timely manner per the approved test plan.Plan for and be prepared to modify test conditions or schedule, keeping division leadership informed, if unusual circumstances are encountered or if warranted by safety concerns.Directs team in preparing test reports and contribute to Warfare Development Center (WDC) tactics guides, as directed.Ensure iBoss Program Manager is current and accurate for all assigned projects. Actively monitor iBoss Document Router in the progress of applicable documents toward timely signature.Ensures team is prepared to brief program status and test results.Maintains, with support from assigned team, a program-specific chronological record that includes decisions made, issues identified and serves as a running record of program history.Ensure iBoss Program Manager is current and accurate for all assigned projects.
