Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Data Operations Analyst for a global entertainment company to support a centralized platform for content and campaign planning. Location: LA or NYC with onsite work; contract for 8 months, pay of 70/hr on a W2.

Our client a global entertainment company is seeking a Senior Data Operations Analyst to support a centralized platform used for global content and campaign planning. Senior leaders across marketing, publicity, and programming rely on this data to make informed decisions, and this role will help ensure the information is accurate, current, and trusted. This is located in their New York City or Los Angeles Office.

You'll work closely with stakeholder teams, attending recurring meetings, capturing key decisions and data points, confirming information with accountable leaders, and translating unstructured information into clean, structured data.

Location: New York, NY

Contract: 8-months (possibility of extension)

Onsite in LA or NYC

Pay: 70/hr. on a W2

Key Responsibilities

• Attend recurring stakeholder meetings and capture decisions, data points, action items, and open questions
• Confirm information directly with business leaders before entering or updating data
• Maintain accurate records and meet established turnaround expectations
• Handle confidential and pre-release information, including embargoed titles, unannounced projects, and internal timelines
• Respond to in-the-moment stakeholder requests and determine what can be entered directly versus what requires confirmation
• Provide weekly updates on work completed, outstanding items, and potential issues
• Identify and escalation data conflicts, outdated records, and process gaps
• Maintain an observations log and identify trends or opportunities to improve data quality and cross-team workflows
• Provide feedback and recommendations to help improve the overall data management process

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, business operations, internal research, reporting, or a related field
• Entertainment or media industry experience, particularly with content slates, production, release timelines, or title-level data
• Experience translating unstructured information from meetings, conversations, or documents into structured, reliable data
• Demonstrated ability to work with confidential or pre-release information
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working directly with senior leaders and managing competing inputs
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain data accuracy while working independently
• Familiarity with low-code/no-code tools and relational data concepts, including tables, linked records, formulas, and views
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in an evolving environment where processes are actively being developed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Airtable, including formulas, views, and interfaces
• Experience with marketing data, campaign planning, media, or creative operations
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced media or entertainment environment
