Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Senior Data Operations Analyst to join our team. You will help transform unstructured inputs into clean, structured, title-level data to inform scheduling, campaigns, and resource planning.

On-site in Los Angeles or New York, you will work with stakeholders across marketing, production, and programming. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in data analysis or operations, experience in entertainment or media, and proficiency with low-code tools and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data analyst, internal research, business operations, or reporting roles.
• Entertainment or media industry background with content slates, production and release timelines, and title-level data.
• Transform unstructured inputs into structured, reliable datasets.
• Handle confidential or pre-release information professionally.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders and data accuracy.
• Comfort with low-code/no-code tooling and relational data concepts.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas.
• Excellent written communication with clear notes, status, and escalations.

Responsibilities

• Attend recurring stakeholder meetings and capture decisions, data points, action items, and questions.
• Confirm data directly with accountable business leaders before entry.
• Enter and maintain records accurately within turnaround expectations.
• Handle embargoed titles and pre-release information with discretion.
• Triaging stakeholder requests and determine confirmation paths.
• Prepare and present weekly data health, progress, and risks.
• Identify data conflicts, stale records, and process friction.
• Maintain an observations log and propose workflow improvements.
• Contribute to the design and refinement of low-code workflows and standards.
