  • Identify systemic property issues and recommend solutions to leadership.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and relocation of staff and assets across offices.
  • Lead facility-related projects, including timelines, vendor coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures affecting multiple divisions, ensuring compliance with state standards.
  • Conduct annual ADA compliance reviews.
  • Oversee purchasing, inventory management, asset verification, and technology lifecycle processes.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses when making expensive decisions, consulting with leadership as needed.
  • Collaborate with building designees, division accountants, and other state agencies on leases.

The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation Administrative Services Division is seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientedOperational Resources Specialistto join our team in Pierre, SD. This position is responsible for managing property operations across multiple facilities around the State, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources, and supporting the Department’s mission. This position is also responsible for coordinating all purchases in DLR.

Duties & Responsibilities
