Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking a seasoned Operational Resilience professional in New York to oversee initiatives across Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and regulatory compliance. You will develop core deliverables, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage remediation plans tied to testing and regulatory reviews.

The role requires ~5–12 years in financial services risk and a deep understanding of capital markets, governance, and crisis management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
• ~5-12 years of experience in financial services risk, Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, or Disaster Recovery.
• Strong understanding of capital markets and corporate and investment banking operations.
• Familiarity with Operational Resilience frameworks, including governance, scenario testing, recovery planning, and crisis management.
• Demonstrated experience supporting projects, including planning, stakeholder coordination, and execution tracking.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Understanding regulatory expectations (BCBS Principles for Operational Resilience; U.S. Federal Reserve, OCC, and FDIC guidance).

Responsibilities

• Support a portfolio of Operational Resilience initiatives across Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain core program deliverables, including policies, procedures, standards, and playbooks.
• Build and manage remediation plans arising from testing, assessments, and regulatory reviews, including action tracking, escalation, and reporting.
• Coordinate with business, technology, and corporate stakeholders to drive timely delivery and alignment with the OR framework.
• Support resilience testing and exercises (e.g., Tabletops, BCP, DR, scenario-based testing), including preparation, execution tracking, and follow-up remediation.
• Prepare executive-ready materials for senior management and governance forums, including status updates, dashboards, and regulatory submissions.
• Contribute to the evolution of the Operational Resilience framework, standards, and governance practices.
