Role Description
- Support the Head of Operational Resilience Americas in delivering a robust, industry-standard Operational Resilience (OR) framework for a major international bank.
- Assist in an ongoing engagement to ensure the proposed target operating model and supporting deliverables are:
- Well-suited for bank's operational environment
- Aligned with domestic and international regulatory expectations
- Consistent with industry best practices
- Demonstrate a successful track record in designing and implementing Operational Resilience Programs at financial institutions.
- Possess hands‑on experience in operational resilience, particularly within Globally Systemically Important Banks (GSIBs) and/or US Foreign Banking Organizations (FBOs).
- Take a proactive, hands‑on approach to finalizing the framework design, including:
- Refining and enhancing existing deliverables
- Taking direct ownership of specific work products related to the engagement.
Position Requirements
- Extensive experience in establishing and executing Operational Resilience Frameworks from inception through delivery.
- 15+ years of experience, preferably in financial services with a focus on Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Planning, and/or Disaster Recovery.
- Working knowledge of U.S. financial services regulatory requirements related to Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery.
- Proven project management skills with experience in leading and delivering projects.
- Experience in Big 4 consulting or equivalent is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent organizational skills.
- Develop and present progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Set and manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate efficiently across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
