Job summary

Hudbay is seeking a Document Controller & Operational Readiness Specialist in Sahuarita, AZ, to ensure complete and audit-ready OR deliverables. You will manage the centralized document control system, track milestones, and coordinate with the OR team to prevent gaps before commissioning and start-up.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4 years in document control or related fields, with proficiency in Primavera and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in administration, engineering, or related field.
• 4 years of experience in document control, project controls, or operations support roles.
• Experience with document management systems and tracking milestones.

Responsibilities

• Implement a document control system for procedures, manuals, systems documentation, and other operational readiness records.
• Manage document control and management of all Operational Readiness deliverables.
• Track the status and targeted delivery of procedures, manuals, and readiness documentation.
• Ensure the quality and completeness of Operational Readiness documentation.
• Support operational readiness reporting and coordination with stakeholders.
