Ensure production processes consistently produce conforming products by focusing on process inputs, adherence to standards, control of critical process parameters, and continuous improvement of manufacturing performance.

Scope Serves as the primary quality representative within manufacturing operations, working directly with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to monitor process effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and support sustainable corrective actions. This position emphasizes prevention over detection by validating process inputs, auditing process compliance, supporting First Article Inspections (FAI), investigating quality concerns, and verifying that manufacturing controls are capable of consistently delivering customer and product requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support manufacturing operations through process monitoring, verification activities, and quality-at-the-source initiatives.
  • Lead and participate in shop-floor problem-solving, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation.
  • Conduct process audits and verify compliance with procedures, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Support First Article Inspections (FAI), process validations, and implementation of new or revised products and processes.
  • Perform dimensional and process verification measurements to confirm process capability and product conformance.
  • Analyze quality data, identify risks and trends, and drive continuous improvement activities that reduce variation, scrap, and rework.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to improve process effectiveness and sustain corrective actions.
Key Competencies
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and process control principles.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and technical requirements.
  • Proficiency with dimensional inspection equipment and data analysis tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  • High level of accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence.
