The Special Operations Clinical Psychologist will deliver expert psychology support to SOF, with duties spanning assessment, treatment, and resilience programs to enhance mission readiness.

The position requires U.S. Citizenship, a current security clearance or ability to obtain one, and licensure to practice psychology in the U.S.

Competenze

• Position requires U.S. Citizenship.
• Requires a Secret Clearance or Top Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance.
• Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Successful completion of an APA-accredited internship/residency.
• A minimum of two years peer-reviewed clinical work in a mental health setting.
• Licensure as a psychologist in a U.S. State, DC, Guam, Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands.
• Obtain practice privileges from the servicing military medical treatment facility.

Mansioni

• Develop resiliency programs for preventing and treating behavioral health issues to support service member readiness and resiliency.
• Conduct psychological evaluations using clinical interviews, testing, and collateral sources when appropriate.
• Practice within the guidelines of the state licensing board, APA Ethical Principles, and MTF privileges.
• Establish psychiatric diagnoses and provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups, and assist in rehabilitation of patients.
