Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Special Operations Operational Psychologist to provide clinical and operational psychology support for SOF personnel in Southern Pines, NC.

The role involves leading resilience programs, conducting personnel assessments, and delivering expert psychological services in demanding environments. The position requires a PhD or PsyD in psychology, APA-accredited training, and security clearance.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association accredited program.
• Internship/Residency in psychology accredited by the APA.
• Two years of post-doctoral, independent practice in operational psychology preferred.
• Must meet clinical competency requirements and licensure in a U.S. state or territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and direct services in clinical and operational psychology for SOF personnel.
• Develop, plan and initiate unit-level resiliency programs to support readiness and resilience.
• Conduct assessments for personnel selection and performance enhancement; advise leadership.
• Perform baseline and post-event neuropsychological screening and analyze trends in psychological health.
• Provide crisis response and follow-up care for unit casualties and serious incidents.
