Job summary

TOTE Resources in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Full-Time Financial Analyst to develop and analyze financial reports for statements and on-demand reporting. The role involves budgeting (operational and capital), long-term forecasts, and support for the budgeting process, with onsite work at the corporate office.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in accounting/finance and 3–5 years of related experience, strong Excel and analytical abilities, and solid communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze weekly financial projections for the current month covering vessel ops expenses and fuel costs.
• Execute month-end closing tasks, including accrual entries and backup documentation.
• Analyze and report financial position with variance explanations versus plan and projections.
• Provide support to operations through forecasting of operational and capital budgets.
• Create and complete annual budgets for vessel operations, fuel, and capital.
• Provide system support for FSM, NSE, and Adaptive software systems.
• Track and implement financial mechanisms of contracts into budgeting and reporting.
• Provide accounting and financial system guidance to management and staff of other divisions.
• Provide budget assistance to management and staff.
• Provide support for bid financial modeling.
• Provide support for external audit sample requests.
• Act as Finance lead on assigned TOTE, Inc. and/or operating company projects.
