Job summary

DSV is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager in Austin, TX to lead CIP and process optimization across logistics operations, driving efficiency, reducing costs and increasing customer satisfaction. You will manage process improvement projects, perform root-cause analysis, map processes, and design capital equipment, while training teams to sustain change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Five years of related management experience.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Training in Lean manufacturing principles and Kaizen facilitation.
• Strong leadership skills, experience working in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and facilitate process improvement projects and trainings to drive cultural change.
• Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing/business issues, and create process documentation.
• Carry out advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping, and develop budgets and cost analysis for feasibility.
• Design, install, and manage capital equipment related to process improvement.
• Drive value stream mapping from As-Is to future state.
• Develop and conduct compliance assessments and program evaluations to drive permanent change.
