Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Operational Excellence Specialist at the Wilson, North Carolina site to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, deploying JJPS and RCPS concepts and promoting the 'Right the First Time' mindset.

You will lead value stream mapping, CIP pipelines, and site performance reviews, coach Lean/Six Sigma practitioners, and collaborate across functions to deliver cost savings and reliability improvements for key medicines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science required.
• Minimum of 3 years in Operations/GET/MSAT/Planning/Project Management.
• 1–2 years in continuous improvement/lean functions.
• Experience leading projects; ability to translate strategic issues into value creation.
• Knowledge of JJPS/Production system and RCPS.
• Proven track record in identifying and driving execution of CIP/PI initiatives.
• Experience in workshop facilitation; ability to collaborate in a matrix environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; results oriented.

Responsibilities

• Execute JJPS initiatives and deploy Culture of Excellence at the site.
• Complete Value Stream Maps and deliver reliability improvements.
• Lead CIP pipeline through workshops, diagnostics, and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Perform data analysis to identify improvement opportunities and monitor performance.
• Support global programs such as Smart Change Over and OEE.
• Coach and certify Lean/Six Sigma practitioners and drive CI projects.
