Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc is seeking an Operational Excellence Engineer to coordinate lean initiatives on site in Kinston, NC. The role requires planning, scheduling, and executing process projects with a focus on waste reduction and continuous improvement.

You will drive data visibility through dashboards (Power BI/Excel/LDMS), work with Automation and Digital teams, and lead cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years Medical Device industry experience preferred.
• Six Sigma Experience preferred; Lean Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement lean deployment and continuous improvements; monitor progress.
• Provide technical advice and analytical support for site projects via Lean and Six Sigma.
• Support Lean Daily Management System as requested by site management.
• Develop dashboards (Power BI/Excel/LDMS) to track KPIs and performance.
• Collaborate with Automation, Digital & Technology stakeholders on data visibility and reporting.
• Lead cross-functional teams in cost-saving actions and root-cause analysis.
• Verify lean concepts and measure post-implementation results.
• Assist in lean maturity plan for the site.
• Other tasks as assigned by the manager.
