Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist for a contract-to-hire role in Columbus, OH. The position drives Lean, Six Sigma and CI initiatives across manufacturing, quality, engineering and supply chain teams on the production floor and in office settings.

The candidate should have 1–3 years in process improvement, a regulated manufacturing background, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is required.
• Experience in process improvement, manufacturing, or operations is needed.
• Lean, Six Sigma and project management principles applied in practice.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing, operational, and business processes across the site.
• Lead cross-functional teams in planning, coordination, and execution of CI initiatives.
• Facilitate Lean events, Kaizen activities, and structured problem-solving workshops.
• Analyze performance data and KPIs to identify trends and root causes.
• Develop and implement sustainable process solutions aligned with site goals.
• Measure and communicate outcomes including cost savings and productivity gains.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions for long-term improvements.
• Collaborate with production, quality, engineering and supply chain teams.
