Job summary

Apogee Architectural Metals, a segment of Apogee Enterprises, is seeking an Operational Excellence Engineer II in the United States to drive process optimization across manufacturing and business processes, lead data-driven improvements, and support capital investments.

You will partner with operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, coaching supervisors, and delivering measurable performance gains.

Qualifications

• Applied knowledge of CI and Lean methodologies.
• Strong facilitation and collaboration skills.
• Ability to influence without authority.
• Comfort working with operational metrics and data.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional development and optimization of manufacturing and business processes.
• Collect and analyze manufacturing data to identify inefficiencies.
• Lead larger scope CI projects and coach teams in CI tools.
• Drive AMS culture change and align projects with safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Collaborate across departments to remove roadblocks and build capability.
