Job summary

Apogee Architectural Metals is seeking an Operational Excellence Engineer II to drive lean and Six Sigma initiatives across manufacturing and AMS. You will analyze end-to-end processes, lead data-driven improvements, and mentor teams on CI tools to enhance capacity, quality, and cost.

Responsibilities include process development, data analysis, and collaboration with operations, engineering, and supply chain, with regional travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing or CI experience.
• Applied knowledge of CI and Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional process development to improve capacity, flow, and operational effectiveness.
• Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and inform solution development and investments.
• Coach supervisors and operators on CI tools, standard work, and problem-solving behaviors.
