Essential Functions:
Ensure that corporate initiatives are ready for execution before rolling out, and drive coordination on cross-functional initiatives within the Business Area. Handle, or escalate, operational issues common for the group towards the organizational Business Drivers or shared service functions Ensure best practice transfer between Business Units within areas like sales performance, operational perfection, local innovation etc. Ensure common use of performance at all levels and become the Business Area’s superuser of sales reporting and operational tools included in the operational concept for follow up (Power BI reports, Labor model, and other relevant platforms). Work with the operations teams to improve execution of programs and identify and recommend core opportunities that can improve ease and speed of execution. Take responsibility for the execution of programs with the division teams Work with the operations teams, and BU VP to help prioritize the projects and pace / schedule for executing approved processes. Follow up performance status across business units including status on sales, campaigns, and operational issues Represent the Business Area in different steering committees and become single point of contact regarding operational sales issues Participate in business driver meetings and make sure corporate processes are aligned and standardized to a maximum within retail sales & operations across the Business Area Prepare and participate in Business Area meetings and Business Unit business reviews Increases professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of retail experience or related field preferred. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted. 3-4 years of operations experience with preference on store operations preferred. Team leadership capability, including building teams and motivate others for high performance and set them up for success Data and Analytics skills Good to Excellent presentation and communication skills Strong operational understanding – including operational characteristics of Circle K BUs across North America. Out of the box, strategic thinker – willing to take some risks on programs that could yield significant improvements. Effective collaborator, work in and across teams Ability to influencing others Proactive Execution focus, ability to drive change and deliver results in an organization High level of comfort with technological advancements and high level of intellectual curiosity Strong Project management skills Data and Analytics skills Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
