Job summary

IDeaS/SAS seeks a motivated intern to support strategic initiatives in Operational Excellence and AI Transformation. You will help document and improve processes, evaluate AI use cases, and analyze data to measure value from transformation programs.

Working with leaders in Operations Excellence, AI stakeholders, and business teams, you’ll gain hands-on experience in change management, analytics, and enterprise technology while contributing to measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or final-year Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, MIS, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Technology, Digital Transformation, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in artificial intelligence, process improvement, business transformation, and enterprise technology.
• Ability to gather, organize, analyze, and summarize data and business information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document findings and present recommendations clearly.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on assigned deliverables.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across business and technology teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Curiosity, initiative, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in documenting, analyzing, and improving business processes across multiple functions.
• Support process mapping, workflow assessment, and identification of opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Support the identification, research, and evaluation of AI use cases across the organization.
• Assist with pilots, experimentation, adoption initiatives, and documentation of AI-enabled opportunities and outcomes.
• Gather, organize, and analyze business and operational data.
• Support measurement of productivity improvements, process efficiency, AI adoption, and business value generated through transformation initiatives.
• Support planning and execution of Operational Excellence and AI-related initiatives.
• Assist with stakeholder communications, meeting preparation, action item tracking, knowledge assets, training materials, and change management activities.
• Help develop, maintain, and improve process documentation, standards, templates, user guides, and business transformation resources to support consistency and reuse across teams.
• Work with internal stakeholders across business and technology teams to gather input, support workstream execution, and contribute to practical recommendations that improve how work gets done.
