Job summary

Oriental seeks an Advisor, Customer Intelligence (Process Improvement) to assess processes under the Customer Intelligence & Operations structure and drive continuous improvement across the organization. This role uses data-driven approaches to identify bottlenecks, optimize resources, and develop strategies for efficient processes that align with business goals.

Hybrid work arrangement in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with reporting to the Team Lead or Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in process improvement or related work.
• Understanding of lean methodologies; certifications preferred: Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, Scrum, or Agile.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to influence others.
• Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a team effectively at all levels of an organization with a deep commitment to strong business results.
• English and Spanish written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Office 365 tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & PowerBI or related data visualization tool.

Responsibilities

• Map current and future state end-to-end processes via shadowing and SME interviews.
• Gather and analyze data to identify trends, bottlenecks and synthesize insights for strategic solutions.
• Track process improvements, measure impact, including cost savings and quality gains.
• Communicate progress and results of improvement initiatives.
• Lead implementation of strategies to optimize processes and resources.
• Ensure recommendations meet goals and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence key business decisions.
• Identify metrics to monitor operational performance.
• Align people, time, and budgets with revenue, growth goals and customer expectations.
• Other duties may be assigned.
