Job summary

Aksia is seeking an Analyst to join our ODD team in our New York office. Analysts participate in meetings with investment managers and key operational professionals, review and analyze relevant documentation, and work with senior colleagues to assess potential operational and business risks.

These findings are summarized in written reports presented to clients. Through structured training, Analysts develop the ability to ask thoughtful questions, evaluate information critically, and communicate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; strong academic record preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to summarize complex information clearly and objectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Word and Excel; strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and participate in operational due diligence meetings with senior finance, compliance and operations professionals.
• Review and analyze offering memoranda, audited financial statements, compliance materials, and other manager documentation.
• Identify potential operational and business risks, including fraud indicators and control environments.
• Draft clear, well-supported research reports summarizing findings and potential mitigants.
• Collaborate with team members and internal groups to discuss findings and ensure high-quality work product.
• Communicate research findings to clients in a clear and professional manner.
