Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a procurement specialist to support materials sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing processes within project teams.

You’ll handle BOM reviews, RFQs, POs in SAP, and supplier performance improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, quality-focused delivery. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience or internship in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and proficiency in Excel.
• Understanding of supply chain, logistics, inventory management, and purchasing processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Review BOMs and issue RFQs to approved suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier proposals based on cost, delivery, lead times, and terms.
• Create and manage POs in SAP with proper approvals.
• Track and expedite POs to maintain project schedules.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, and supply issues.
• Coordinate shipment schedules and communicate potential delays.
• Investigate discrepancies with POs, receipts, and invoices.
• Support supplier performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
