Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a procurement specialist to support materials sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing processes within project teams.

You’ll handle BOM reviews, RFQs, POs in SAP, and supplier performance improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, quality-focused delivery. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, strong communication, and attention to detail as you contribute to a sustainable energy future with a global technology

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience or internship in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and proficiency in Excel.
• Understanding of supply chain, logistics, inventory management, and purchasing processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

How you’ll make an impact

• Track and expedite purchase orders to maintain project schedules and material availability.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, and supply issues.
• Coordinate shipment schedules and proactively communicate potential delays to stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
• Support supplier performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your background

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience, internship exposure, or academic knowledge in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of supply chain, logistics, inventory management, and purchasing processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and within cross‑functional teams.
