Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification is required.

• Basic computer skills and ability to present information to individuals or groups in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team before, during, and after surgery and maintain instruments and equipment.
• Maintain equipment in good working order with weekly inspections and testing.
• Prepare and arrange supplies and equipment in the operating room for procedures.
• Ensure sterility and cleanliness of instruments and devices prior to procedures.
• Assist with set up, handling, and passing of instruments during surgery.
• Support patient positioning and assist with gowning and gloving as directed.
• Participate in room turnover and post-operative cleanup.
