Qualifications

• High school graduate; completion of an Accredited OR Technician training program.
• AST certification required; American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills essential for perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms; ensure instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready.
• Provide skilled scrub support and assist surgeons and the perioperative team.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention standards.
• Support patient safety, comfort, and dignity before, during, and after surgery.
• Assist with instrument/micro-instrument maintenance and room turnover between procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nurses to deliver coordinated care.
