Oak Valley Hospital District in Oakdale, CA is seeking a dynamic certified Operating Room Technician for our Surgical Services department. The OR Tech will work under Nurse Manager supervision, providing basic care and assisting nurses and physicians in the OR.

Requirements include high school diploma, at least six months in acute care surgery or GI/endoscopy, basic math, and preferred bilingual in English/Spanish; current AHA BLS and CRCST within one year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in an acute care surgery or GI/Endoscopy Suite department preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality basic care activities within the scope of practice.
• Assist nurses and physicians in the OR setting.
• Maintain room readiness and equipment for procedures.

Performs duties under the general direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager or Registered Nurse. Responsible for providing high quality individualized basic care activities within the scope of practice.
