Job summary

Oak Valley Hospital in Oakdale, CA is seeking a certified Surgical Technician for our Surgical Services department. This full-time position supports patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, delivering technically skilled nursing interventions for diverse patient populations.

The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program, hold current AHA BLS, and prefer CRCST certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience as a surgical technician in an acute hospital preferred.
• Certification in surgical technology preferred.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• CRCST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under RN direction, provide technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations.
• Assist in development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan for perioperative nursing care.
